Pat Flowers

Pat trained at the Cardiff College of Music and Drama before working as a professional actress and later as a freeelance reporter for BBC TV and Radio in Cardiff. Seeking more job security, Pat then became a lecturer in Further Education, teaching Drama, English and Communications in a number of FE Colleges in Wales and England.

Now retired, Pat teaches teenagers and adults on a one to one basis specialising in Dyslexia support. Pat has also worked as a Director/Lecturer at Gwent Youth Theatre, and more recently has directed a range of Community Dramas in Sussex.

Pat is the ‘meeter and greeter’ at Little Marshfoot.

Kathryn Dewhurst

Kathryn studied at the University of East Anglia and then Queen Elizabeth College, London University before taking a number of management positions in the hospitality industry.

In the mid 1980s Kathryn retrained to teach in Further and Higher Education. She then taught in FE and Adult Education Colleges in London before moving to Sussex to take a job as Senior Lecturer in Hospitality at the University of Brighton.

Specialising in Food and Health Policy she also taught and wrote about Environmental Management in Hospitality until retiring to concentrate on the business at Little Marshfoot and also to enjoy walking and cycling in the beautiful Sussex countryside.

Awards

At Little Marshfoot we pride ourselves on our commitment to the Environment. We have won a number of awards for our eco-building and sustainable practices in the years that we have been operating.
